daddy-daughter day went well. taking a day off from job-searching was a good idea too, and we have not had time just for each other for a while, while kate gets much needed and deserved alone time.

much fun rolling around on the carpet, eating messy things like tomatoes, and playing in the water toy on a cold day ensued. a nice walk to peets began a sequence of fun that ended at gregoire then home and mom.

job search goes well enough as I have an interview on monday and other stuff percolating. really wanting to do some art, maybe drawing for now, maybe starting tomorrow. went to my studio earlier this week and that was great but it’s hard to get to sf right now.

other fun stuff includes playground time with abhaya, picking her up with the bike. she took this photo although I did hold the camera/phone, she pressed the button. took lots of photos today.

I think I am going to re-release my first novella as a book of short fiction, which is what it originally was before I put all the stories and fragments together. not sure when that will be done but it is on the front of my mind, just like the mini-book or guide to keeping a powerful journal, which I started recently. I have the idea, if this book becomes popular, to add more resources to this guide and perhaps some type of coaching or consulting around the value and techniques of creating and maintaining a private journal. this is a topic I feel very passionate about and I believe it is an art and a powerful tool that has been neglected in the world of fb and pinterest. words are powerful and can help us overcome the biggest problems.
